India is the Global hub for Pharmacovigilance that is the reason why there are multiple opportunities in India. One thing of note is that all are Pharmacovigilance service providers. There is hardly any pharmaceutical company which provides full work from home. There may be case to case scenarios where Pharmaceutical companies may be giving full work from home. However overall on a broad angle, none are following full work from home models.
For service provider companies it is cost effective as the rent of the office spaces are saved per person and it adds to overall profits of the company. Still many companies like TCS and Cognizant have stopped work from home.
In cities like Mumbai and Bangalore, where tarvelling 5 km takes almost an hour, work from home is very beneficial to the employees.
